Who We Are

Meet Randy Gillen, Owner and Founder of Big Horn Custom Builders

Randy, a professional and caring individual with small-town values, grew up in a rural farming and ranching community. He put himself through college at Colorado State University by working in the construction industry. During this time, Randy learned the tricks of the trade and the importance of quality craftsmanship.

His first construction job was for a custom home builder who was also a third-generation German master craftsman. Randy enjoyed learning to an artisan himself, and he took great pride in being taught by one of the best in the industry.

In his spare time, Randy enjoys relaxing on a river with a fly rod in his hand. An avid fly fisherman, Randy enjoys living in Colorado and appreciates all it has to offer. On his free time, you can find him relaxing on a river with a fly road in his hand.

Big Horn Custom Builders were featured in Cabin Life Magazine, Style Magazine, and other coffee table books for the renovation and recreation of the oldest log cabin in Colorado.
